The new St Michael’s Retail Park in Basingstoke has just welcomed the opening of a new Nando’s. The French Group as Principal Contractor, in conjunction with STAC Architecture, have completed this new outlet of Peri-Peri delight with the added flair of a “Green Tower” feature at the entrance.
The Tower is a masterpiece of design and tasked The French Group with challenges to bring the final vision into reality. The Tower is a steel structure using old tyres painstakingly cut by hand; which have been added in as a feature to envelope planters. Over time, as the plants grow, this is going to create a wonderland of trailing vegetation for all to enjoy, especially if you are dining al-fresco.
The interior design by STAC Architecture has been faithfully brought to life by French’s and contains lighting and ceiling features highlighting the facets of the tile and wood interior. Nando’s will be able to host 103 diners inside and a further 36 outside, together with the option of a takeaway menu this promises to be a popular place to visit.
